Suck it, New York

In reference to two posts ago, we have decided to go somewhere else for vacation. Somewhere fun, somewhere beautiful, somewhere less expensive (!!!).

Somewhere we’ve both always wanted to visit.

We’re going to Ireland.

For a week.

Seriously.

WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

(We’re even staying here our last night. Wheeeeeeeeee!)

I'm so envious it's not even funny. I will at least agree with your sentiment - "Suck it New York".

I'm more excited than you are envious. Trust me.
But you know what? I was amazed at how easy and affordable this was. If this is as good as I think it will be, I can see us knocking out a new country or two every year.

You will be missing out by not going to New York. I have been twice and had a great time each time. Now, I did have the luxury of staying with my sister each time so I avoided the hotel costs. So don't scratch NY off your list yet, perhaps a Yankees Vs. Royals game at the new Yankee stadium. There is just SOOO much to see and do in NY its amazing. Restaurants of every nationality (including irish), shops, museums, national landmarks, I think you could even find some improv (not that you don't get enough of that here, but its nice to just watch every now and then).

We'll end up going to NY at some point, I'm sure. I think we already have a week's worth of dinner spots already picked out.

But when Ireland is less expensive, it's pretty much a no-brainer.
